Volunteer

Be part of the joy!

The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation Volunteer Corps is more than just service (and that's quite a lot on its own); the Corps represents community, purpose and commitment to advancing arts access for all.

Volunteering for the Foundation, through Freeman Arts, Foundation Support, or the Arts Access Initiative, is a rewarding and inspiring way to support the values, purpose and mission of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation.

We maintain an extensive volunteer program to help provide operational support for our programs. Each year, more than 250 enthusiastic volunteers contribute their time, talent and energy to provide vital support, serving more than 100,000 guests who visit Freeman Arts Pavilion, another 30,000 students who enjoy our Arts Education programs, and more through our fundraising events, Spotlight Series, Community Partner events and beyond!

Program Vision

The vision of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation Volunteer Corps is to build a sustainable, inclusive, and model volunteer program that reflects the values, vision, purpose and mission of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation.

Parking:

Provide directions to parking lots and support the smooth arrival and departure of guests heading to a show.

The Main Entrance:

  • Greeters Greeting folks at the gate and throughout the venue is one of the most important parts of a concert experience we wholeheartedly welcome all, and our volunteers are some of the first people that guests get to meet as they enter the venue.
  • Ticket Scanning For volunteers who enjoy checking off lists and helping guests move through the gates safely, this is a great opportunity to do both.
  • Chair Checkers These volunteers work closely with the Security team, following safety protocols and making sure each guest has a smooth transition through the security checkpoint.

Young Audience Series

For those who find joy in working with young families, volunteering at Freeman Arts Pavilion Young Audience Series programs is a chance to support daytime performances that spark curiosity and creativity. Volunteers will ensure a welcoming experience while being part of a lively, purpose-driven environment.
