Nashville Now is Rolling Stone's weekly deep dive into the hottest genre in music: country. Hosted by Deputy Editor Joseph Hudak, each episode breaks down the biggest stories in country music — spotlighting rising artists and legends alike — and delivers the must-hear songs, all with the kind of insider access only Rolling Stone can provide. From Americana to outlaw to Red Dirt, Nashville Now goes behind the scenes of the genre's most exciting moment yet, with sharp commentary, rich history, and just the right amount of attitude.

Past guests have included Vince Gill, Shaboozey, Shania Twain, The Black Crowes, and many more.

The live event will feature a special performance by Maggie Rose, including songs from her highly anticipated new album, "Half Moon."

ABOUT THE HOST

Nashville Now is written, produced, and hosted by Joseph Hudak, Rolling Stone's Deputy Editor and head of country music coverage. A native of Dallas, Pennsylvania, Joseph launched his career in Philadelphia as a writer for TV Guide before his passion for music took him to Nashville. There, he established himself as a journalist at Country Weekly before being tapped to launch Rolling Stone Country.
From Willie Nelson and Lainey Wilson to Chris Stapleton and Shania Twain, Joseph has spent years building relationships at the heart of Nashville's music community. He is widely regarded as one of the most respected and beloved journalists in country music — a true fan of the genre and a gifted storyteller.

About the Producers

Nashville Now is directed, produced, and co-hosted by Steve Jawn, and produced by Dani Jawn. The duo is proud residents of Lewes, Delaware. Together, they have directed and produced over 100 music videos for artists including Old Dominion, Marcus King, Miranda Lambert, and Brett Young.
Last year, their documentary Twitty & Lynn: Together Again — which follows the grandchildren of Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn — was screened on the Freeman Arts Pavilion during the 2025 season. Steve and Dani's production company, The 10:10 Creative, has also announced the Delaware Beaches Songwriter Fest, launching September 10–13 in Lewes, Milton, and Rehoboth Beach.
