Southern Delaware Tourism hosted its Annual Tourism Awards Luncheon on Wednesday, December 8th at The Lighthouse Cove Event Center in Dewey Beach.
Winners were named in each of five categories in 2021 including Pioneer Award, Perseverance Award, Pivot Award, Philanthropic Award, and Tourism Partner of the Year.
The 2021 Southern Delaware Tourism Awards winners are:
- Pioneer Award Category: Winter Delmarva Dogfish BirdINNg Weekends (Delmarva Birding Weekends Dogfish Inn Dogfish Head)
- Perseverance Award Category: Ashley Houdbert - Visit Rehoboth / Visit Lewes (Visit Rehoboth Visit Lewes)
- Pivot Award Category: Winner: Freeman Arts Pavilion
- Philanthropic Award Category: Winner: Rehoboth Beach Main Street
- Tourism Partner of the Year: Winner: Delaware Sea Grant College Program / University of Delaware
